Sally's Profile
After completing a degree in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Sydney, Sally went on to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy graduating in 2006. Sally values ongoing learning and professional development and has also completed additional training in dry needling, Kinesio taping and is DMA trained Pilates instructor.
Over the past 18 years Sally has worked in Private practices across Sydney and Melbourne treating across a wide variety of sports and musculoskeletal injuries. She has also worked with Sydney University Rugby Union as a Physio and Sports trainer.
Merging knowledge and skills from both degrees Sally uses a combination of hands-on manual therapy, dry needling and exercise based rehab to help achieve excellent outcomes for her clients. Sally also strongly believes in the role that education and understanding your injuries has in empowering clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
Sally treats across all musculoskeletal and sports injuries but has a particular interest in:
- Sporting/running injuries of the lower limb
- Lumbar/pelvic/hip pain including pregnancy related pelvic pain
- Headaches
Outside of work Sally can be found at the beach, the gym or relaxing with a good book. She is an avid traveller having visited more than 40 countries and is always open to new travel tips!
