Dennis Breese

Dennis Profile

Dr. Dennis Breese originates from Southern California and has strong ties to the central coast of NSW. More than 20 years ago Dennis came to Australia as a keen surfer and to experience the Aussie lifestyle.

After growing up in the region between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in Southern California, he left the USA to study teaching in Australia on the Central Coast. After completing a Bachelors of Arts degree in 2004 from Avondale University in Fine Art and Secondary Teaching in 2008, he and his wife headed back to California. He has taught high school art as well as other subjects in Orange County.

Having personally experienced disabling back pain at different stages of his life, Dennis pivoted from a career in secondary teaching to study physiotherapy. He wanted to learn about his own back issues. After five intense years of university, he earned his title as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in California in 2015.

Dennis possesses personal insight and empathy, enabling him to understand the profound impact back pain can have on people’s lives. He is a compassionate advocate for his patients’ wellbeing and happiness and is committed to guiding his patients through their journey of recovery.

Outside of work you can find Dennis surfing near Catherine Hill Bay, painting coastal beach scenes on canvas, spending time with his family at the beach or mountain biking on our local tracks.
